My girlfriends 13 yr old son Ashton (great kid) took her and I there today , and what started out as a short walk turned I to an adventure. The Nehalem river runs a mere 100 yards or less from it as well. We checked out these old buildings that where built for processing logs back in he day. Today it is amazing Inside! It appears that the greatest graffiti artists around have turned the inside of these buildings in to their canvas , and it is unreal!!! My favorite part . The lake is small by lake standards but very pretty, and with a trail all the way around it, paved I might add, it's a beautiful place to get some exercise, and take in the scenery. I have added only a few of the 150 pics I took. I will return and soon. Love this place !! Thanks Ashton ....
