Measuring a massive 270.5 inches in diameter, 100 feet tall, and 33.25 feet of crown spread, it’s a giant you have to see to believe! 🌿 Champion trees are the largest of their species, calculated using a special formula combining size and spread. What an absolute wonder to stand next to! This tree is easily one of the most massive creatures I've had the pleasure to encounter and I hope to visit it again. The trunk is almost wide enough to drive a car through, and if you walk around the backside of the tree you can see a small opening likely due to rot over the years... If you take a flashlight, inside the tree you can see a massive hollowed out cavity. The tree seems to be relatively healthy despite these minor imperfections though. If you have a chance to visit this giant, definitely do. Just be sure to respect this beautiful forest and this ancient being!
