McDonough Park — Attraction in Vienna

A nice place to walk and see some trees of many a variety. The landscape is not showing many a wildlife as much is still springing back int the jist of life, but the bees are buzzing and flowers are blooming. Different paths around give you a sense of finding something you have not touched on before and if you have done them all, go for a run to beat your best time prior. We love taking our dogs to this park no matter the time of year. It's close to town but you definitely get your feel of some woods & space from the every day hustle. Also, a biggie for us, our dogs don't come home covered in ticks at this park like they have at others and we've walked every trail they have. This is a beautiful park for multiple different activities. It is a great place for walking, running, and picnics. There are multiple trails throughout the park with benches on them, and even a paved walking path for people that aren’t feeling as adventurous.
