Nippersink on the Lake — Attraction in Village of Bloomfield

Austin and I had our Best Day Ever this past June at truly the most perfect and special place - Nippersink on the Lake. We toured venues in March 2022 and at the time, this venue was still under renovation - the owners showed us around and we still knew based on the beautiful lake, and all the updates that they were talking about that it would be perfect for us. We also toured a lot of the other venues in the Lake Geneva area and honestly now that everything is finished, this place beats them all. We came back for the open house, food tastings, and just to check in and every time they had made AMAZING new updates to the venue. I am beyond impressed with how everything turned out - it is more than I could have ever imagined from the ceremony space choices, the patio area where we had our cocktail hour, the curved pathway/aisle, the Bridal Suite where we got ready in the morning is state of the art and even the hair and makeup artists and photographers said it was one of the nicest rooms they had seen for getting ready. They have a brand new dock for some beautiful Golden Hour photos right on the water, a gazebo which was perfect for our First Look, and our String Trio fit perfectly under the wooden arch where the ceremony was. Then we have the reception space - I had 275 guests in attendance and the room was plenty big enough to not have any tables on the brand new wooden dance floor. They have windows facing the water and a brand new huge bar. They also have a HUGE in house kitchen where they offer their own catering with a great list of different meal/drink choices and packages, including catering to special requests like a charcuterie board that they made which was enough to feed all of our guests. Everyone loved the food, especially the brisket smoked in-house:) One thing that we really appreciated was that they are currently only doing one wedding per weekend, which meant we could come set up on Friday and clean up on Sunday vs other weddings I've been in we are scrambling to have everything cleaned up the night of. They also own a hotel right on the property that they are still working on renovating but it was perfect for our close family and friends to stay there an be so close to the action. Lastly, you can have the best wedding venue in the world, but when you also have the best people working with you in constant communication and owners who are so accommodating and all of them are so kind and calm and wonderful to talk to, it really makes this place seem like a unicorn. Jaclyn is the ABSOLUTE BEST Venue Coordinator. I'm actually missing her now that our wedding is over! Nippersink on the lake was the most amazing venue we could have had for our big day. Working with Jaclyn, Karen, and Paul was lovely. Jaclyn was always so quick to get back to us with an answer to any big or small questions we had. Jaclyn was a huge help in guiding and accommodating any needs we had for our weekend. For example, she made sure the venue had apple cider for part of my signature drink! The family had multiple special, personalized touches given to us along the way leading up to the big day that made us feel so cared for and special. The venue is absolutely beautiful. Paul has put his heart and soul into creating the beautiful wooden tables, arches, and more. Karen was so easy to work with over at the hotel that they updated next door which made for the most convenient stay at the venue. Seeing how each family member contributed to the space really made it feel like home and that we were part of the Nippersink family! Aside from the beautiful space, the food was absolutely amazing and all our guests were raving about it! The winner was definitely the smoked brisket for everyone! Another thing we loved about Nippersink was that you have access to the venue the whole weekend. It made us feel so comfortable in the space, allowed us to decorate as much as we wanted, and we were able to celebrate up until the last minute as we were allowed to clean up the next day. It's been a year since we said "I do" and every time we reflect back on that day, we're still so very grateful to have chosen Nippersink on the Lake as our reception venue! Paul, Karen and Jaclyn were absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. From the very first day we reached out to them, all the way through the wedding day itself, they were truly the most down to earth, professional, thoughtful, generous and kind people. Their integrity shines through in all that they do; in their prompt and kind communication, their patience and helpfulness, the heart and soul they have poured into creating such a beautiful space, their generosity in going above and beyond to help make your day as beautiful as possible, and their joyful presence with you throughout the entire process. By the end of our wedding day, Paul, Karen, Jaclyn and their team felt like dear friends who had just experienced one of the most meaningful days of our lives alongside us. We're so thankful for them and all they did for us! The venue itself is modern, bright, inviting, comfortable and so very beautiful. The bridal suite is beyond stunning and was the absolute perfect place to get ready with the girls. Our guests genuinely raved about the beauty of the space and their experience with the team at Nippersink on the Lake. We can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was and recommend Nippersink on the Lake to anyone looking for a wedding or event venue. They're simply the best!
