The Salt Room Lake Country — Attraction in Village of Pewaukee

I had my first experience in a salt room yesterday (7/8) and it was absolutely fantastic! I did a session in the meditation room, it was extremely relaxing. I did not go for any specific health issue, just general health and wellness. I felt SO refreshed afterward...like I had just been swimming in the ocean.

Today (7/9) I did a session in the infrared sauna. Another great experience. To me, little touches matter...they make a big impact. The room was very clean, the sauna is new and works as it should, there was water in the room, plenty of towels, a robe/wrap if wanted, clear instructions about the sauna as well as the etiquette for the session. Afterwards there are cold washcloths infused with either lavender or peppermint for your face and neck to feel truly refreshed. Deodorant and ponytail holders are available too. Again, little touches are everything!

Tammara, the owner, and Jenny, her associate, are extremely knowledgeable and truly care about why you are there. They don't just try to sell you a package, they want to do the best therapy plan for each individual. In fact, it was suggested that I try a few sessions of each therapy to see what would make the most sense for my goals before committing to anything.

We went for a free visit they offered us as I only went one time before. We ran 10 minutes late and we were literally reprimanded by the girl at the front desk that rides the motorcycle. I won’t be going back simply because of her tone that she used with my family. She was annoyed, didn’t want to be there, had a wedding to go to, and clearly was pre occupied with other things outside of work. The fact that they invited me to go and then to be reprimanded for being late after driving an hour to get there was ridiculous. I bit my tongue as i was with my wife and son, but the nerve of her to use the tone that she did with us upon arrival was out of line. She’s not friendly but when the other woman on-site came to meet us the girl changed her attitude. I hope the owner reads this. Your employee needs to check her attitude or you will lose customers. YOU NEED TO COME TO THE SALT ROOM If you are thinking of coming for any services at the salt room - book now!!! This place is amazing, relaxing and most importantly healing. I’ve been coming to Lake County Salt Room pretty much since it opened. It was a game changer for me. The benefits to my skin, sinuses & attitude are so evident when I have to be away. The ions in the salt give me the lift I need to put me back to a positive outlook.
