love this place for music. called"the Rita" but watch the signage close as that same name isn't on all signs in the door. basically, down the first hall on the right---as you enter the building. acoustics are wonderful. (during this mid October 2021 covid day, all are required to wear masks to enter performance---funny, the only one without a mask is the Madam Chair of Arts.... hmmm mm......)be safe and...

The acoustics in this small venue are excellent. In my opinion, the best part about this venue is Dr. James Kinchen. His vision for the voices of UW-Parkside is unparalleled. His students are blessed to have such a wise teacher to learn from. I've seen numerous events here, my favorite being the University of North Dakota choir. If events at The Rita were marketed better, there would rarely be empty...

Attended the Star Wars Orchestra concert. Our grandson was attending his first concert without an intermission. He loved every minute of the music, sound effects, and light saber drama. He was on his feet, enjoying the final piece. "This was the best concert ever!" Thanks to all who played a part in this wonderful concert...
