Vine Grove Optimist Park — Attraction in Vine Grove

Seemed decent over all. Several ball fields, so kudos to the community for keeping sports alive. The fields could be in better shape though, but budgets have constraints I'm sure. There is a small covered stage for live performances. The one thing that appeared odd to me was the picnic area, which had several tables in individual spots with campground space style road access to them. The best thing i saw was the enclosed playground space with newer equipment, though i didn't look close enough to notice what all was there. The playground that they off the kids here is just too cute!!! My son loves to go here after his soccer games/practices. The fields have their moments where I feel like there could be some touch up on the scrimmage lines, and the overall care of the fields. Parking is good, but if you arrive on a day that all the fields are in play, you will find yourself having to walk a bit to get to your teams on the field.
