The road in keeps this from getting 5 stars. Maybe that's why it should get 5 stars. We drove in with our Honda CRV which had good clearance despite some real crummy sections that will need some skill to navigate.
We took this trailhead to China Wash, 6 mile r/t, just shy of 900' gain. No other hikers, a handful of mountain bikers on 4/24/20.
