I stopped here on a Saturday afternoon in late March traveling through town. I just happened to see it while I was driving past it and turned around to see what it was.

Unfortunately none of the buildings were open so I only took a quick walk around of the outside of the one building. I wasn’t 100% sure if I was allowed to be on the property so I didn’t hang around too long. I guess they open seasonally so if you are going to see this on purpose I would call first to make sure the buildings are open. It was a pretty nice day tho so it was a nice pit stop to get out and walk...

Great place to visit and see a real historic old mill and how it operates. This place is the best kept secret around as we went there and there was only one other couple. The man that showed us how everything worked was very informative and polite. Can't believe others have not discovered this place and we only found because we happened to be driving by...true Virginia history in Aldie. It is free too but we left a nice donation because it was...

If your looking for original this is the place. Was surprised to see all the original equipment and how well it has been preserved.. Gave me a sense of being in the 19th century. Twin, metal water wheels and some reconstructed buildings, with beautiful grassland. Small property in nature but very pretty. Wheelchair accessible. Some steps to...

One of the best country experiences i've ever seen. The scenery is astounding, the machinery is astounding and supposedly still functional (I didn't personally see it). The town itself is very cute and the nearby bridge is definitely worth a look. 100% a must see if you are in the area.
