Museum and shop are really really well done. Do not let the size of the building trick you. It's full of insights on the Cedar Creek battle, the war in the valley and the restoration of the Heter house across the street. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I was so impressed with how this museum has flourished! I first came here years ago, and there wasn’t much to see back then, so when I walked in today I was thrilled to see the difference! There are displays with artifacts, a sutler section, a movie, and even a dress up area for kids. (My 10 year old daughter could have stayed in that Civil War dress all day!) The gift shop had a nice variety as well. We love what this is...

The staff was very friendly! They was very understanding too, I had missed notify my bank that I was traveling at the time and they froze my accounts. The ladies was beyond understanding and didn't make me feel embarrassed or like I was holding up their time while I got money sent to me. 100% recommend stopping by here and also learning how baseball...
