Northern Fauquier Community Park — Attraction in Virginia

A very nice place for a picnic or a walk . Great playgrounds and ball fields as well. Well maintained . Several concern thst need to be addressed by the mgmt. Got to chase away of remove most of the Geese . They make a mess and the fishing pond is turning in to a cesspool.

The park roads definitely need speed bumps. Too many careless speeders in a park filled with children . Protect our kids will you .

The three play ground must have shade. Tall Maple or Oaks on the western side of the playgrounds is essential for an enjoyable summer playtime activity. The park lacks this essential natural protection.

There is a large quantity of poison Ivy adjacent to the center playground and should be removed .

This is easily one of our favorite parks and we have over 10 to choose from within a 10 mile radius. The park has three playgrounds on the property to allow for plenty of play opportunities for kids of all ages. It is beautifully manicured, and regularly maintained. They have a paved walking path and numerous pavilions for picnics, group, meet ups, and parties. They have a small amphitheater for local events as well. There are bathrooms that are walking distance from each of the playgrounds that are clean. Great for playing pokemon go. I do wish they would have an ordinance about loud music. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon at 4 and some people were playing rap music as loud as they could, we could hear it from down the road. I'm fine with people playing music as long as it is just for their pavilion's enjoyment. Imagine trying to have a birthday party for a little kid in the next pavilion over and not being able to even hear each other.

I also wish the paths would be a little more shaded. It can get very hot in the plain sunshine on...
