They have baseball, softball, and soccer fields here. They have an outdoor swimming pool. There is a playground past the softball/baseball fields on the left side with a covered area with pinic tables. Along the road there are multiple pull off spots with gazebos or covered patios with panic tables. You can also rent the covered patio areas for birthday parties, reunions, etc. For a small fee. They weren't renting them out last year(2020) due to Covid19 but the park has been open for soccer, softball/Baseball games so they are most likely renting them out this summer. Contact Frederick County Parks and Recreation for more info. There is also a lake and trails to fish or go for a walk. They used to have paddle boats/canoes to rent to go on the lake for a small fee as well. They keep the park maintained pretty well such as grass being mowed, trash cans emptied, and bathrooms clean. I think the park is great considering how small it is! The park is open from dawn to dusk and after that, they do lock the gates so cars cannot go in or out once they close the brown gates on both sides just an FYI for anyone who isn't familiar with...

Read moreI took my dog here for a walk. I was disappointed that there were no receptacles for dog poo bags by the parking lot at the lake or on any of the trails. I had forgotten my bags so sorry for the gift. The trails feel like a small forest and is a nice little shady hike which starts around a nice pond with two fountains and geese, but I got lost and had to use a skinny trail along the lake to find my way back because I had a dog and he wasn't allowed to use the blue trail. I think that Blandy is more dog friendly so I will probably go back there. I also don't remember seeing any restrooms or fresh water fountain down in that area. I am pleased to hear there is a pool here, I will have to check it out. This is a great local park for bringing your kids. I could hear them playing with great...
