I have been to most of the Loudoun County wineries and this is one of the most memorable. The proprietor is the one serving the wine and his passion and enthusiasm are infectious. Also, rather than selling bottles of wine, they sell boxes (and soon, pouches) of wine which hold more and cost less than bottles. Along with wine, they also have an Elderberry tea which can easily be mixed with the wine to make a great spritzer. We were picking places at random after discovering some of the wineries in the Waterford region did not allow children (we had two four year olds with us). Read moreOMG! We went to several vineyards and found nothing we liked. The last vineyard recommended Village. We were a bit skeptical at first since the wine is in pouches. We get there, and IT'S THE BEST WINE I HAVE HAD!!!! I like fruit and sweet wines. And the elderberry syrup!!!! The gentleman who poured for us was such a great guy!
