The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has provided a modern access point for launching non-motorized watercraft on the north side of the Carter Lake section of Caddo Lake. Several canoe / kayak paddle trails can be reached from this point, and it is truly one of the loveliest parts of the entire Caddo Lake area.
