A really nice little zoo w monkies, 2 white rinos, tigers, camels, lamas, baboon, lemurs, cougar, 3 bald eagles, & much more. The # & the variety of animals is impressive! We had a catered in supper @ the Hughes Shelter the past 2 evenings ... a large shelter w running water, flushing toilets/restrooms & a kitchen area. I believe service groups use it for their mtgs (Lions, & maybe Kiwanis). There is also a campground w 2 camper cabins; as well as a SB/Little League diamond, which had a game on it both nights. Read moreNice little campground. Only problem is the guy living in the Kinght shelter. Seems everything we've been here, there are homeless people living around. Wife won't go to the shower house alone because of it. The police come through once in awhile, but they don't seem to notice or care about people living here. One other thing, the dump station here isn't very clean, there is only one water outlet and I've watched campers put their sewer hose up to the hydrant and clean them out.
