World's Largest Catfish — Attraction in Wahpeton

The fish's eyes, dull and lifeless, stare out over a popular fishing spot. The giant catfish looks on this spot apathetic to the suffering of its brethren. Does it bless fishers with luck or is this simply our way of mocking them?

If a human were pulled out of the earth and saw an alien and a giant human, they would assume they saw god and angels. I can only imagine what the fish think. Surprised that their god is a catfish? Astonished that some go back to the water and others transcend?

This was a fun side trip. It may seem a little odd driving through a campground to get there.
