This loop is about 4 miles. Waterfalls are very beautiful, especially the Nawadaha Falls. Easiest way to get into the trail is to park at Nawadaha Falls Parking lot and it will take you directly to the Nawadaha Falls which is about 200 feet from the parking lot. Parking lot has public toilet. From the fall we took left and walked along the river until it meets the lake. There is a hanging bridge to cross one of the river branches. Then we crossed the river by the beach to go to the other side and walked towards the South Bound Rd. You can cross the road on the bridge and come back to the car park which is about 4 miles altogether. The hike was amazing. All of the falls require but a short walk, though there are some stairs involved at times. In addition to the named falls, there are several rapids in between the falls that make for even more beauty. At the northernmost portion of the river south of the suspension bridge is a striking area of unnamed falls and rapids that swiftly churn and flow before reaching several hundred feet of calm and then entering Lake Superior.
