River of Life Church — Attraction in Wakefield Township

I love going to church. Kids have the most amazing service on both Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings with Pastor Mark Eskew and his great crew! They have a huge indoor play set and get to have their own worship experience.

Pastor Denny Curran prepares sermons that are relatable and keeps you on the edge of your seat. He shares real life stories and has a passionate heart to help people grow in their relationship with God no matter their background or season of life.

The worship lead by Pastor Derrick Benoit is my favorite way to start off the morning. There is real talent that he has on stage with him singing, playing guitar, drums, and Keyboard every Service. The worship team keeps it exciting with upbeat songs and special acts including my all time favorite-beatboxing.

The life group Pastors Adam & Amber Haugen are the best! They keep it real relationally. They both are incredible speakers and have such a way with words.

6 years ago, as a new mom with 1 kid and another on the way, I wanted a church that was kid friendly and no hoops to jump through if we wanted to join the church. Our last church stopped doing their kid program, had that not happened, I don’t know that my family would be attending now. I’m sad for the families at my old church that the church community didn’t think the kids program was a priority but thankful for finding River of Life. My kids love going to church and Learning about Jesus! My husband even enjoys going now and has friends there. Life groups has helped me connect with others and grow in my faith! River of Life Church is a place we enjoy going to! We don’t feel pressured to come or shamed when we can’t. Volunteering and giving is encouraged (how any church runs) but I’m not guilted into doing either if I can’t but encouraged to do what God’s leading our family to do. Attending River of Life is such a change from my previous church experiences. My two favorite days of the week are now Sunday and Wednesday. The Sunday morning service and Wednesday night life groups have made a profound difference in our marraige and relationships.

Getting together with a small group of friends or strangers who are going thru the same struggles I am or want to learn more about a specific topic for 8-10 weeks is a life changer, at minimum you'll come out of the group with new friends. Whether the topic is on marraige, finances, raising children, depression, overcoming addictions or learning topics in the bible, there is a group for you.

The Sunday service is place where people want to be. Kids and adults are excited to come to church, you can feel the warmth and energy. The worship music and messages are relatable which help us grow in our relationship with our savior.
