Balch Lake Marina — Attraction in Wakefield

I had read the other reviews and decided to go find this place and see it for myself. It is hidden away you are not going to just happen upon it. It is at the bridge to a small island in one of the many lakes in the area. Incredibly clean store and food preparation area with outdoor seating. One of very few marinas located on a NH lake. The three employees and two dogs I met were awesome so friendly and eger to share their bright personality and knowledge. There is a boat ramp and parking area. Our family has resided on Balch Lake since 1949!! Yup you read it right!! We have watch the marina change owners 3 times and Tracy and Richie have done a fantastic job keeping the spirit of lake life alive and fun!! They never disappoint--especially what it comes to fresh and delicious food. My husband is a huge fan of Tracy's homemade chicken salad--winner, winner chicken salad!! It was also brought to my attention recently, she made a gluten free pizza for my son's friend who was visiting!! Now that's GREAT service. Keep rockin' it Tracy...

This is my favorite spot to vacation. Been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is so friendly and have always helped me with all of my boating needs. I can't forget to mention how good the food is. They always have fresh sandwiches, pizza, and ice cream! Looking forward to coming back...
