Very peaceful lake during the week. It does get a little more activity during the weekends. Plenty of food fishing, boating and water activities available. There is a sand bar in the middle of the lake where boats anchor and enjoy the day.

A bigger lake than you expect. Clean fresh not-too-cold water. Great Fireworks display in July.

Well I'm 1891 My great-grandfather built a small hunting cabin like 10x10 with a wood burning stove in it. It was on what is called Loons island. Then purchased 3 plots of land across from little island. I1906 the little cottage was pulled across the I've by oxen and put on one of the lots. Slowly 2 bedrooms and a wrap around enclosed very large porch was built around it. My grandfather then built a cottage with my 7yr old Dad for his wife my grandmother who had MS rip. So FF many yrs my whole child hood we would spend the entire summer there. Unfortunately after my grandfather passed. My horrible stepgrandmother sold it instead of giving to my dad. I truly wish I could afford to buy it back into my fily where it belongs. My Dad now gone 14yrs would HV loved it to stay in the family. It is a beautiful lake that I have many many yrs of...
