Pine River Pond — Attraction in Wakefield

Well I'm 1891 My great-grandfather built a small hunting cabin like 10x10 with a wood burning stove in it. It was on what is called Loons island. Then purchased 3 plots of land across from little island. I1906 the little cottage was pulled across the I've by oxen and put on one of the lots. Slowly 2 bedrooms and a wrap around enclosed very large porch was built around it. My grandfather then built a cottage with my 7yr old Dad for his wife my grandmother who had MS rip. So FF many yrs my whole child hood we would spend the entire summer there. Unfortunately after my grandfather passed. My horrible stepgrandmother sold it instead of giving to my dad.
