I'm a little biased, because I'm related to the sculptor, and it will be hard to remain objective in writing a review because I remember watching him create some of the sculptures in this massive collection.
The Recycle Art Sculpture Garden covers roughly 4 acres of land, much of which is well maintained and wheel chair accessible (With assistance for some hilly areas, and a word to the wise in the spring, the lower areas do get a bit spongy.) Sculptures of varying size, theme, and style line the paths of the garden making for a pleasant stroll on a grassy roadway that forms a loop of much of the property.
If you're a lover of junk metal art, a fan of those who follow the "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle," or a young artist looking for inspiration, it is well worth the trip.
I go back often throughout the year and always find something new, something freshly created or simply something I missed the last time I visited.

Read moreReally cool sculptures of all sorts of creatures, two-legged to many-legged, that have been creatively placed amongst the trees, stream, stones, and bushes of a peaceful couple acres of wooded hills.
Sadly, the artist passed several years ago so that place has seen better days. Even though the pathways are regularly maintained/mowed, the place definitely has an abandoned/private property vibe. There are no signs with any info at the entrance and parking is very limited (2-3 cars, tops.)
Bottom Line: Great sculptures, needs a welcome sign/info, and a if they'd had a donation jar I would have happily...
