I got there after it closed so I don't know how it was inside the lodge. But I spoke with a nice lady on the phone and she was super informative and helpful.
The paths are clear and lovely though some inconsiderate people have left garbage around or dropped it over the edge of the treehouse.
It's important to note that if you're trying to take a particular path, the signs are a little confusing.
If you're looking for the treehouse, follow the paths that have a treehouse symbol on it. Very simple. If you're using the map, it's number 7. The label is a bit worn out.
Some paths are more difficult than others with steeper hills, so keep that in mind.

Read moreVery cute Nature Center! The Nature Center Building has a great display of taxidermy animals (bear, deer, owl, etc), pressed leaves, live turtles and tortoises, and a bird viewing area. You can also purchase bird and bat houses. There are restrooms available as well as a water bottle station.
As for the trails, we only walked the Universally Accessible Trail (had the kids and a stroller), but they are well maintained. Definitely recommend a good bug spray and close toed shoes and long sleeves/pants. No motorized vehicles or bikes are allowed on the trails.
