End of the Road Studios — Attraction in Walhalla

We have been doing business with Robin at End of the Road since 2014. Early in our history we enjoyed a great professional relationship. We ordered and she delivered, sometimes not as timely as we preferred. The artwork is whimsical and well done so it was a good deal for both of us. This last year has been totally frustrating. First, we were subjected to rude and dismissive responses to our requests. Now we cannot get even a cursory answer to our calls or emails. We find this puzzling and insulting. In addition to our disappointment is that of our customers. Not only did we have to refund their monies, over $700 but they are left with no wonderful depictions of their pets which were to be holiday gifts. We were following the Oconee County portion of the Upstate Hertitage Quilt Trail and were trying to decide whether or not to go to this place. We finally decided to go to see their quilt block, and while turning around we were greeted by Robin who told us that their quilt block was the only interactive quilt block in the country, and said to get out and check it out and then come see their art studio afterwards, even though they were close (her husband Stan had a pottery class going on). We were very glad we did. Their art is impressive and fun. We will be back again when we are looking at purchasing some artwork. End of the Road Studios is a working art studio full of whimsy and clever art that changes regularly. Artists Robin Cooper and Stan Dubose work not only as artists but as art advocates throughout the county and state. Robin completed a commissioned work for me that was exactly what I had in mind. It is a focal point in our home and always starts a happy conversation. It brilliantly captures the memory of a loved one through happy colors and shapes and design that draw a smile every time.
