The Meadows at Millennium Park — Attraction in Walker

This is a beautiful park and I'm envious being that I'm from the east side of the state. As much as I am pure Michigan kinda guy it kills me to say that compared to a lot of other states it seems to me Michigan falls short of the care, maintenance and atmosphere you find elsewhere. Slowly I'm starting to notice a change in all that with the new additions of parks or the renovations of existing parks with the west side of the state leading the way which I hate saying but it's true. Awesome park and I hope the locals here appreciate and take care of this...

Fairly new so the trees are still young and need time to mature. Easy parking, a beautiful trestle bridge overlooking the wetlands, lots of open fields for flying kites, and numerous paths for walking, biking, or rollerblading. The pavilion is for rent which can be annoying but it is far enough away to not interfere with any outdoor activities on the trails.

Love this place!! You can have your venues here or you can walk here fish here. Just so much. It's just beautiful.. it's enjoyable and great for you to get out and walk the many wonderful trails that they have to offer.
