Honestly, I booked this one on a whim - just going off their cute, trendy website. I was hooked. Justin was great! We arrived to our reservation and were promptly taken to the patio area to select a table. The outdoor area is beautiful and not crowded. Hey did you know the female owner is a designer? If we were told this once, we were told this 291 times. Okayyyyy we get it. The wines were nice. I really liked the option of taking the white path or the red path. I chose the white - while everyone else went down the red. It was fun to compare and try all sorts! I really loved the DIFFERENT grapes and wines they had. Super unique offerings. Def. worth checking out!! My favorite wine at Grosgrain was Lemberger Pétillant Naturel. Yummmy and super well priced!

Grosgrain is a hidden gem in Walla Walla. Came here in May of 2021 where Va Piano recommended visiting and ended up joining their CRU club after our visit. They have a unique and thoughtful approach on how they make their wines, also love the aesthetic and design. My favorite is their Semillion Pet Nat! Service is always great, relaxed and friendly.

Without booking we arrived at this beautiful decorated tasting room of this winery. The friendly stuff introduced us to a broad range of their wines - they do so many different styles that you could spend all day tasting.

EDIT:

The owner of the winery, Matt, reached out to me directly to apologize. Clearly, he takes pride in his business and cares about the experience of his guests. Updating to 5 stars based on his follow up and apology.

Beautiful winery and excellent wine - we were 30 min late for our appointment and called to advise. We were told no problem, that we could still show up and they would accommodate. The tasting room associate was visibly annoyed with us, barely spoke to us the entire time we were there, never showed us a wine menu of what we were drinking and never mentioned anything about each bottle he poured other than “this is our Syrah, this is our Grenache” also never spoke about the AVA, or any details about the wine, etc. I’d love to say that I’d go back for the wine but it left me with just a bad taste about the experience. As someone who frequents Walla Walla - the hospitality of your tasting room is very important to your...

Extremely disappointed with my experience here. The wine was average, the ambiance was cute, but the service was the major problem. I had a glass while my partner decided to do the wine tasting flight. At the beginning, the server was friendly enough, bringing the wines at a good rate and briefly describing them. However, while we were enjoying, another table had been seated directly behind us. They also did the tasting. Our server began to help them as well, providing the most detailed and extravagant explanation of each wine. I am not sure if it was their appearance of being older adults or our appearance of being younger adults, but the difference in the explanations of the exact same wines was VAST. We began to listen in so we could actually get the full experience. Felt very disrespected as a wine...
