EDIT:
The owner of the winery, Matt, reached out to me directly to apologize. Clearly, he takes pride in his business and cares about the experience of his guests. Updating to 5 stars based on his follow up and apology.
Beautiful winery and excellent wine - we were 30 min late for our appointment and called to advise. We were told no problem, that we could still show up and they would accommodate. The tasting room associate was visibly annoyed with us, barely spoke to us the entire time we were there, never showed us a wine menu of what we were drinking and never mentioned anything about each bottle he poured other than “this is our Syrah, this is our Grenache” also never spoke about the AVA, or any details about the wine, etc. I’d love to say that I’d go back for the wine but it left me with just a bad taste about the experience. I really loved the DIFFERENT grapes and wines they had. Super unique offerings. Def. worth checking out!! My favorite wine at Grosgrain was Lemberger Pétillant Naturel. Yummmy and super...
