Hoquetus was a fantastic experience and you should go there now. Robert the winemaker talked about wine in a way that was easily consumable for those of us not really knowledgable about the wine making process. He is making some fun wine that’s somewhat different from your normal Rhône/Bordeaux style wines in the WW valley. His nouveau wine was so good I had to go back for a second bottle and we really enjoyed his carbonic Syrah. He has a wine bar downtown you should check out as well.
