I still don't know how we got so lucky to find Brandt 1910 for our wedding venue! I spent nearly a year looking at different venue options and nothing I found ever felt right - whether it be due to location, style, price or even management. Finding Brandt 1910 came out of nowhere. I am still not sure how I found the venue but I am so glad I did.
Throughout wedding planning I would constantly tell people that I had to find vendors I could work with and genuinely wanted to support. This seemed to be harder than I thought. I even met a venue owner who felt the need to talk badly about a wedding planner currently setting up for a wedding that day while we were touring. It put an AWFUL feeling in me. However, when I met Natalie I immediately connected with her! She was extremely communicative, attentive and supportive throughout the entire process from booking to wedding day and even after. She expressed early on how important it was to her to help in any way to make our wedding day perfect for us. While very professional, I also felt like she took the time to connect on a more personal level to help bring our vision to life. My family was highly impressed with Natalie and her team during our set-up for the wedding, rehearsal dinner and the ceremony/reception.
While the Brandt 1910 Team was incredible - the same can be said for the venue itself! We had roughly 100 guests for our ceremony/reception and the space was just the right size to feel intimate, but not crowded. Even with 10 round tables, plus some others, there was still plenty of room for dancing! Which was a huge goal of mine - to dance the night away! The venue is absolutely stunning and includes so many great spaces for photos that offer a timeless feel. Location also supports the intimate feeling as you do not have buildings on top of each other or major traffic.
I still feel incredibly blessed to have found this venue and been given the opportunity to meet Natalie and her team. I can't possibly recommend Brandt 1910 enough to others looking for an event space! I wish the absolute best for this business...
Read moreThis venue has great potential if it is managed properly , uniquely decorated and has food preparation organized by experienced professionals. I realize this is a start up business and the first Christmas event, but it was very underwhelming! I was terribly disappointed. There were bare pine trees on a stage that were never decorated or lit. The Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus were delightful, but the backdrop for pictures with them was just a big old sofa against a brick wall when it should have been festive or by decorated Christmas trees. It was very under decorated for such an event. It appeared to be thrown together at the last minute! The food was OK if it came to you hot but many people got warm food. Our salads were sitting on the table when we arrived. We had warm water sitting in our glasses and never got refills or a wait staff to check on what we needed during our meal time. And the very bland sticky bread pudding dessert was definitely not the thing to serve for this event. We never were offered a complimentary dinner coffee or soft drinks. You had to pay extra for specialty drinks and alcohol at a self serve bar.
The dinner theater was nothing like I would have imagined it to be. I expected some kind of play when theater is in the description. People from the audience were chosen to act out an emotion while humming Frosty the Snowman! It was a disaster! It was a poor activity choice for adults and children alike. It was Rather distracting during the dinner hour along with the host’’s loud voice which was irritating because the acoustics in the building was so terrible. I don’t know that I would attend another event where I have to pay $50 a ticket for lukewarm food and look at bare brick walls as the decor. The Jazz music playing when we arrived was a pleasant experience. A few songs sung by the hired singers were also enjoyable, but overall, I have been to many Christmas events that cost far less, and had so much more.
