Just before the entrance to the Borges ranch parking lot if you cut left into the hills and swoop around a power line tower and make your way to the top you can see a horse ranch to your bottom left. This ranch will light up the satellites in the sky. I was fortunate to see the spaceX starlink but it may have also been the a-train. Eighter way it's really cool and so is all the wild stuff you hear at 4 a.m. I do recommend you bring a knife b/c I've seen wild bore, one mountain lion and the skull of a mountain lion with the front teeth looking about an inch long.

If you run into one up there no one will hear your getting dismembered. If you have a good headlamp and head for the outer ridge you can see all types and eyeballs staring at you from the surrounding brush making it really unique and if you are really lucky and the fog comes in you will be in for...

had tons of fun riding my MTB here, the flow trail is a lot of fun and the climb to it isn't that bad for how much fun and length you get from the flow trail. some of the other trails at the highest point in park are also a lot of fun, lots of good long flow. the quarry area has a lot of drops and other stuff that's a lot of fun. overall it makes a good ride and a good time. 10/10 would recommend. I will say tho that I don't recall anywhere to refill water so you should bring lots of extra or you plan to be there a while and the parking lot is relatively small for how busy it gets, it has never been bad for me the few times I've gone but I hear it can get pretty crowded. and there are no restroom but other than...

The trails are very nice going up to Lime Ridge Open Space that you can hike or use a mountain bike. There are open areas that are very sunny and some trails that are shady. Once you top the ridge there are beautiful views to the west Walnut Creek with lots of rolling hills and lots of trees or looking east the terrain is hilly, dryer and trees. The area we visited is mostly all uphill until you reach the ridge. You should be aware that there are rattlesnakes that could be on the trail especially during the hotter weather. There are several routes to visit Lime Ridge. The easiest route and shortest is a parking lot off Ygnacio Valley road & Montecito Dr. which is open from...

Outstanding open space for those that really want a simple no frills series of trails in beautiful hills. Watch out for cows in certain areas, and be aware that many many people do NOT observe the guidelines for where dogs can go, and ESPECIALLY where dogs are not supposed to be off leash. Also realize that there are four or five diffrrent areas all titled "Limeridge" that span a number of distinct plots on both sides of Ygnacio Valley road. So it is not just one open area. Occasional snakes and a coyote or two so keep an eye open and enjoy!

Lime Ridge Open Space is beautiful and is very nice to do a wide arrangement of different activities. Lime Ridge is an amazing place to exercise by walking, running and an incredible place to walk your dog. Lime Ridge has a great open area which is nice for flying a kite or letting your pet run around. This open space has beautiful views and gorgeous scenery. I completely love this open area and enjoy visiting this location.

Don’t be a victim! Someone must have seen me hide my purse in the trunk before starting my hike. I never leave valuables in sight but in this case it didn’t matter. I was only gone for an hour and when I got back my window was busted, and they were able to open my trunk with the interior button. Apparently smash and grabs are not uncommon here, and it’s a quick getaway.
