These trails used to be my fav place to hike and horseback ride but, cyclists are making the experience unsafe. Most cyclist seem to not know OR ignore which trails are permissible. Narrow trails are now dangerous to hikers amidst oncoming bicycles. Cyclist race on electric bikes and seem to have the right of way - it’s not safe and someone is going to get hurt and sue the city. The Moms loved the fact that there were flush toilets, the Dad's loved the fact that cell reception is great there. 😄 Everyone loved the ampitheatre, the BBQ pit and the space for the kids to play with each other. Read moreOne of my favorite places to hike in the tri-valley. Accessible, gorgeous, and not crowded. Parts of this area may be difficult for casual hikers as the hills can be very steep, but there are alternate routes to access the gorgeous ridge overlooking the entire San Ramon Valley. Beautiful oaks and benches scattered throughout. Also a great place for dogs!
