Whole family had alot of fun, spent around 5+ hours out here and still didn't get everything done.. they have do much for every age to do, I'm looking forward to going next year again already!! The only thing I could say wasn't the greatest was the prices, admission was around $18 each which was great for everything they offer, and they do have quite alot you can do that comes along with that admission price.. we came on butterfly release day (which was sooo fun, so beautiful and meant alot, we remembered our loved ones that passed as we released ours) anyway that was an extra$6 per butterfly.. still I think not a bad price.. They have other things you can pay for like mining which costed between $5-$10; was supposed to have been a hot air balloon ride for $20 for 5 min ride though I never saw it anywhere and we was there from 1145 -630.. also pony rides (some were big horses, but was still fun, but anyway $10 for about 5 min on the pony ride.. so that all adds up there's others too . Anyway like I said there's PLENTY of FUN things to do for free after you pay admission, so I am still very pleased with going for sure!!..
BUT... it got steep when it came to food/drink prices.. for as long as we were all out there we were soooo thirsty. Waters were $2!!! Sodas $2, they gateraids $3, and if you wanted one of the mouth watering lemonades we kept seeing, you had to shell out $8 each drink!!! That's alot for a medium sized lemonade. I feel if they are going to keep the prices for drink/food so high, they could offer free water .. or at least drop the prices by at LEAST half. People get out there, middle of no where), and are spending the whole day there, and what if we didn't have someone with us that had extra money?? We were all desperately needing a drink .. anyway we all got waters in the end, costed for the 6 of us for one bottle of water $12... And the food, I don't know all the costs, we didn't look at everything, but a burger was around $10, just for the burger. Add 6 people together that would easily add up by time you simply get a burger and a plain water . The water was my main complaint I suppose, charging $2 for a bottled water was ridiculous when clearly we already pd $18+$25 ($25 at the gate if didn't pre pay online, my mom didn't get here early, cost her $25 to walk in) . I feel basic water should be something that is given out at least ONE bottle per person per trip or something , it gets hot and ALOT of walking, so having a drink is a NESSESITY.. That is the only reason I took a star off. Otherwise, we absolutely...
Read moreYou expect to have fun at places like this, but to feel joy and to see it on the face of everyone else says a lot about Jackson Farm.
There’s not a wasted space or moment on the farm; there are activities for all ages from toddlers to grandparents!
The farm is beautiful! It’s nestled in the foothills of the Ozarks and there are picture opportunities around every corner. Everything in sight makes you feel caught up in the atmosphere; the signage, the music, the sounds. Jackson Farm is a great escape from your typical pumpkin patch!
From employees to fellow guests, there wasn’t a shortage of smiles and friendly faces.
I will admit that I thought the food options on the farm were a bit pricey. However, it’s almost expected to be that way at a place like this, and the more than make up for it in variety of options.
Hearing the story of Jackson Farm and how it came to be while on the Hay Ride around the property made me truly appreciate this place even more. It really is a labor of love from everyone involved.
I can’t recommend Jackson...
Read moreThe peace of God really dwells here. These people have prayed over this place many times, you can feel it. Everyone is so kind. We almost missed the candy drop from the helicopter, I had tickets on my phone and my son bolted through the gate to get to the helicopter, the guy at gate said, hes a little boy, let him go. Because the helicopter was flying. As a mother, this meant everything to me that he was more worried about a child getting that experience in life than a stamp on his hand! They're so kind here. And SOOOOOOOOO MUCH TO DO!! We spent nearly 5 hours there and and still didnt do it all. And there wasnt hardly any lines. Just awesome. This was year 2 for us. We have yet to get on the hayride and I cant wait to do it next year!! The rocking chairs and porches are my favorite!! May God bless the Jacksons abundantly for their...
