These trails are awesome. So well managed. At home, the trails are so rutted you can't drive them but these were flat with mild ruts and some hills and rocks to keep it interesting. Most of the people we met were very considerate and shared the road. We stayed in War, WV and these people are all very kind. We had to ask a few people for directions or where to eat and they would stop and chat for a bit then send you where you needed to go. We met the fire chief and he was friendly and told us some history on the city. The ladies at The Owl were first class! Highly recommend staying here and staying at A Bit of Heaven. I go out for joy riding and just to soak up the nature and boy can you do that here. I don't go for the black trails but I do hit the blue ones. So if you're an extreme rider who comes out for the really difficult ones don't take my review in consideration. The small trailhead parking is located 1.5 miles away from the the warrior trail entrance and you must still drive through local businesses and homes with dogs in the yards.
