I stopped at the stand today; there weren't any customers at the register, but there were flats on the counter so I stood off by the side a bit thinking someone was coming back with more flowers. After a few minutes, the clerk asked if I needed help and I asked about deliveries. She asked her boss my question and her boss gave a cryptic answer and stepped up to her register to check out a customer who had approached with a cart of flats.
Meanwhile, the woman who had flats at the clerk's register came back with more flowers, had a brief exchangewith the clerk and moved off to continue shopping. I was still standing off to the side when the owner/boss instructed the clerk not to do any other transaction until the woman shopping for flowers was done. I was ok with waiting, however when the boss/owner was done checking our her customer, she walked away, knowing that I was standing there waiting to make arrangements for a delivery.
I left and ordered delivery from another local business. This was the second time I had visited the farm stand and gotten shabby service from the boss/owner. The flowers there are beautiful, but I won't spend my money at any business that doesn't appreciate...
