Ted Wright Park — Attraction in Warner Robins

Update to the review below: this park is temporarily closed for a full remodel. They have the initial parts of a brand new set of play structures and splash pad going up as of April ‘22. Can’t wait until it is finished, it looks awesome so far. Exactly what Bonaire needed.

This park is the closest one to us which is why three stars, because we're glad it's close by. The equipment WAS very dated and metal, which gets very hot in the summer. Some of the swings and other play equipment was broken. We talked about why the city or the church across the street didn't do something about up keep... In the last few weeks the city has demolished the playground area of the park, removed trees, and put in new drainage. Not sure what is going in but we have fingers crossed for a new playground structure such as what is in Centerville or...

This is actually a great park in terms of playground equipment as it offers various climbing structures a giant slide as well as 2 smaller slides, 3 swings and there is a covered pavillion/gazebo area which I have seen parents use for birthday parties. They have tennis courts a concrete path surrounding the grassy grounds. The worst thing about this park is cleanliness...the toilets have a sign closed so they have temporary port-a-potties which have no running water or place to wash hands. We have been in 2 full years of Covid and recent monkey pox and just general Hygiene its not good. I have brought my 4yr old here at least a dozen times and each time I am expecting the toilets to be fixed and in working order with running water and each time I'm disappointed. 3 stars due to Cleanliness...

It's all about the 12 pickleball courts for open play except when used for league play and such. And it has night lights, players turn them on manually and they automatically turn off at 10 pm. There is also an nice splash park, walking path around the splash park area and an area with playground equipment. A couple of overhangs to escape the sun in the summer. And plenty of open area to run, throw a ball, fly a kite etc. Oh, single occupancy bathroom s that appear to be...
