Payson Park is a nice little park to bring your kids if you want somewhere that is off the beaten road. The playground is pretty basic but has some fun attractions for children. There is a nice grassy hill that is fun with kids as well as different spots you could bring a lunch or something to eat. Payson Park is right next to a river that is a pretty good location to go fishing as well as some spots (if you are adventurous) that you could go swimming in. Payson Park has a small little trail that crosses this bridge over the river that leads up stream a ways and you can see a mini water fall and what looks to be an old bridge. If you hike up the trail you will find some narrow spots but they will lead you to the waterfall eventually. The trail in the summer time does over some mosquitoes so do prepare for that but for the most part it is a decent trail to hike on and bring your child. There is a part of the trail that goes in some tall grass looking area as well as tall trees. There are some spots that if you aren't careful you could get your feet into puddles but that really depends on your own footing. Overall, it is a fun place to bring your family as well as going fishing. If you have a puppy or a small dog this would be a good starter trail for them because of the short length...

Very busy on this warm spring day, unsurprisingly. Overall a nice...

This place is clean and quiet! If you have a kid that likes playground equipment, there's a good variety for different aged kids. If your kid is like mine and loves exploring, there's a trail that takes you into the woods and down by the stream! Very clean, very well maintained, highly recommend if your looking for some outdoor fun...
