Another beautiful day fishing on the lake. Got "skunked" again, but that's not the lake's fault --- others were having some luck 🥴
I couldn't grab my camera in time, but a pair of Great Blue Herons took off from a distant shore, flew around overhead, and then swooped by, about 20 feet in front of me --- they should be renamed "Fantastic Blue Herons"! Also sighted: Hawks; "Not-As-Great-But-Not-Too-Shabby" Green Heron(?) ; Swallow-like birds, catching insects in flight; Pair of Ospreys, dive-fishing 😲
Lake was teeming with lots of kayaks; fishers; kayak-fishers; sculling; canoes; standing boards(?); platform fishing; shore fishing; walking/hiking paths; and swimming (designated area only); seasonal hunting areas, etc --- but it never seemed to be annoying or crowded at all.

Yes this bass I caught is a dink, other caught larger bass. Someone caught a perch as well. Good fishing for a highly pressured fishing area.
Fishing tips for bass here. I was successful with a shade color lipless crank bait, though I saw others use light color top water lures as well as a all white chatter bait. Just YouTube the lures and baits to use for what season your fishing and you’ll have much success here. Best of luck.

My cousin who was with me was pulling one of the anchors up and said there was some kind of black stuff on it he couldn't get off his hands. Well we got back to loading when we were done fishing and loaded the boat. When my cousin was hooking the boat in the rear he said he smelled what seem to be sewage.
