Been coming for years. They have done alot . I remember when they just had tables and just a single rifle range with 25 50 and 100 yards and long wait times . Now they have concrete tables with rubber pads , dedicated pistol range , shotgun and still the same rilfe range. But the wait to start shooting has dramatically been cut down . I go 2 to 3 times a month. I always bring pistol rifle and shotgun and I rarely have to wait to start shooting. If the rifle is range is occupied I go to either the pistol or shotgun and by the time I'm done there usually is a spot open in the rifle range. Just remember to either have a hunting license or a range permit . Limited to max 6 rounds when shooting.

We were looking forward to spending the day at the range as their website, and here on google maps, showed they are open. Although, when we drove an hour we came across this road closure (see photo). Apparently, they do not open again till mid-July. Here’s a simple suggestion- just communicate your current hours and let people know you are closed.

Great place to target practice. You need to get a range permit or have a hunting license or carry permit to shoot here. They upgraded it and did a very good job. Much better than it used to be. It's nice to see that they invested some of our money towards something for us.

This is a great location for shooting long guns outdoors, and an okay location for handguns. There are several stalls, maybe about 12 to 15, that are covered. You can shoot from a standing or seated position on their concrete stands and seats. Most of the lanes are 100 yards, but there are 4 lanes (two on each side) that are 50 yards. Some people bring targets they can stake into the ground so they can have a closer target. The cost for the permit is just over $30 and is good from July 1 to June 30. You can bring one guest on your permit. There is no range officer, so one of the participants will need to declare him or herself a range officer. Access is via a gravel road and there is enough parking for the amount of lanes there. The range is open an hour after dawn until an hour...

This is a decent place to go if you want to sharpen your target shooting skills. It used to be free to shoot here, but now you either have to buy a range use permit for 30 bucks a year, or have a current hunting or fur trapping license. The state game wardens do come around on occasion and check to make sure everyone has the proper license or permit to shoot here. It is advisable to keep an eye on the people to your left and to your right, because not everyone abides by The Common Sense rules of firearm handling. At the firing line, there is a strict regulation that no firearm can have more than three rounds of ammunition in it at any one time. This rule exists because of the people who live within hearing proximity...
