Avery Park — Attraction in Washington Township

Don't like playing at this park. The signage to the park is bad. It is in a neighborhood if you miss the second sign, you are out to Glacier Ridge park. Until you know which side of the park your diamond is on, you are guessing. If you guess wrong, you have to walk back to your car and drive to the other end of the park. A 15 min mistake. Is it really that difficult to put signs identifying what diamonds are on what side closer to the road? This place is madness. Great for games. Parents need to be super patient and observant on game days though. Locals just run along the road with the typical local attitude and don't care about traffic or anyone but themselves, just running across the road whenever they like, and there's people everywhere. Avery Park is a baseball/softball park owned by the City of Dublin. They have multiple baseball fields, restrooms, a concession stand and soccer fields. On the south end there is a playground and basketball courts.The parking lots can be full and hard to find a parking spot if there is a tournament going on. Be sure to get there early.
