A beautiful area with lots of interesting little spots... The Nature Center, the enclosed area with all the bird feeders, (great for photography!), the ponds, the farm with chickens, sheep and a donkey, the hiking trails, and of course the wildflowers and wildlife. A really nice, peaceful place that gives you a chance to connect with Nature and get away from the noise and hassle of our usual, daily lives. And the guy who seems to be in charge of everything, Adam, is always willing to talk and pass along interesting bits of info regarding the various plants and animals you can see there. Read moreNice trail, lots of animal activity and not too many people. Fairly easy hike, mostly wooded. Trails are easy to follow and there are maps at almost every trail intersection. The main loop is about two miles.
Slightly overgrown in a few spots, lots of flies, bug spray recommended.
