Love this park, but they lock up the dog park for an excessive period of time over holidays. (2-4 DAYS!! Good grief, Charlie Brown!!!) Of all the places in the complex that should be open, when people are off work and able to go out and spend quality time with their pets, it is ridiculous to close this one place in the park. And it is not like there is an attendant or staff that you check in with to enter the dog areas. We watch our own pups while they play and exercise. We clean up after ourselves. Hmmmph!

This is a large open area park. it has a port-a-john bathroom but it was clean when I was there for Family Fun Day. There were many activities set up that day. Centerville Parks and Recreation has done a fabulous service to the community by setting up family days and adapted days (where families with kids with special needs can come and receive more assistance to do the activities).See photos

Super nice park. 2 nice sized playgrounds. Plenty of parking. 15 Soccer Fields. A catch and release pond. Baseball fields. A mile walking trail. Exercise route with equipment. 2 Dog Park areas. And plenty of picnic tables under shelter. There's also an archery near the back of the park. So much to do at this park, and it's always kept up nicely.

There are a lot of stuff you can do here eg: fishing, baseball, soccer, archery, dog park etc. The dog park is mainly why I come here for other than some walking around the park. There are small dog park and large size dog park. They’re both separated by fences. One of the cleanest dog park and well maintained dog park that I had been too near Dayton area. The dog owners seems to be nice dog owners. There are a few rules that you need to know that you will see when you’re about to enter the dog park. The few rules that I can think on top of my heads are no treats, no balls or toys, no kids under a centaur age, no foods or drinks allow (the dog park provide water fountain). This is a very good place if you love to let your dog/small human socializing...

I went there today (09/01/23) for the Dog Day event, they had a cute "Lemonade Stand" photo booth, various treat samples, mini agility course, bubble machine, "pup cups", water, Plinko type game, bracelet making booth, Sicsa booth and Zip Room booth. My Schnorgi pup Paulie (named after Paul Rudd) did not attend because I was unsure how she would react amongst dogs she never met. They had a large dog park area where happy dogs could run around and play possibly even make new "furriends". It was my first time at this establishment and I was impressed. It was quite spacious, very clean and there was plenty of parking space. I also wanted to say Mirabeth at the bracelet made my visit very pleasant. I enjoyed talking to her especially hearing about her...

Oak Grove is a great park. Love how long the paths are. Makes running and walking great especially if you are looking for distance. The dog park is a real treat. It's well maintained by CWPD as well as people who bring their dogs. The fishing pond is wonderful. My son loves fishing so it's fun bringing him out to fish not far from home. They have tennis courts, lacrosse fields, soccer fields, and baseball fields as well. A few picnic shelters, but plenty of green space for picnicing. They also have a playground, which is fine for older kids, but lacking for little kids. I also think it could be bigger for the park size. Bathrooms are the one thing lacking. With the park being so big bathrooms are...
