Wainer Park — Attraction in Washington Township

This park is really beautiful and so is the walking and biking trail. however, it is open to the public to hike and fish as well as cookout, however, whoever is in charge of mowing, it only clears one tiny path, and all around the pond is 3 feet of grass. You cannot go near because it is so snake infested. We saw six snakes in a matter of 20 minutes. We saw the man that was mowing up there. He seems to be very lazy, and instead of clearing out around the pond, he does one little pathway. Beautiful park, we only stayed in one section, so didn't explore, we came here from NYC to watch the eclipse of 2024 😊

Perfect little park. Three pavilions. Grills. Volleyball sand court. Amphitheatre with 2 dozen plus stone benches. Path around wooded perimeter. Basketball half court. I think can have fires?? Don't quote me...
