I must clarify this 1 star, is not for the Physical beach. The beach is magnificent. The review is for "Karen" who did not own a property on the private part of the beach(for she said so), but proceeded to continue to be rude to a 4yr old and their parent, for the kid "wondering into the private section" of the beach, while the parent was distracted my a young child. I witnessed this and it made me sad.
The signage is very poor, even for us adults who can read to notice. Just put up a fence, so us mortals who just come a visit your Island, us mortals who's visits drive your Island's economy can notice we are not wanted. Especially our 4yr old who cannot read will be effectively kept out of your little bit of paradise.

We waited in line for 6 hours, in the hot sun, with no access to food or water other than what we brought and only a...
Read moreSigns up that say you can't access the beach anymore because stairs can't be built and don't you dare walk down the road to easily scramble down the rip rap because "private property." Entire historical parking spots logged off. But no clear indication that it's actually a crime to access...just that someone might make you leave...because "stairs" and "erosion"
This needs to be addressed immediately by the local community as it appears that this "public" park is being closed to the public. Protect...
