Bear Lake Regional Park offers a unique and delightful experience for visitors seeking a serene retreat. Nestled by the tranquil lake, this picturesque destination provides multiple spots to unwind and enjoy the great outdoors.

Upon arrival, the well-maintained grounds catch your attention. The area is impressively clean, creating a welcoming ambiance for families and friends alike. The choice of setting up on either side of the lake grants flexibility and variety in your experience.

One highlight of Bear Lake Regional Park is the picturesque dock, perfect for capturing memorable pictures or indulging in a peaceful fishing session. For those seeking a bit more adventure, bringing paddle boards adds an extra layer of fun to your visit.

As for amenities, the presence of bathrooms is appreciated. However, it's advisable to bring your own soap as it might not be available on-site. Picnic tables and grills are also at your disposal, making it an excellent spot for a relaxing day out. Just remember that these amenities are likely first come, first served.

A major advantage of this park is its "no boat lake" policy, ensuring a serene and safe environment free from disruptive wakes or fast motor boats. This adds to the tranquility and allows everyone to enjoy the natural beauty of the lake and its surroundings.

In conclusion, Bear Lake Regional Park is a fantastic destination for both kids and adults seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. With its serene setting, various recreational options, and clean facilities, it promises a memorable and enjoyable time for all who visit....

The renovations at Bear Lake are greatly appreciated and helpful. The shower tower is especially important as the weather gets hotter and the itch is likely to reappear as the water approaches 80 degrees in the shallows.

The new fishing piers are being used daily, although I don't think people realize the special status of the lake (Fishing is reserved for kids 15 and under, seniors, and disabled, per WDFW,) but I've seen a lot more adults than children fishing. I could be wrong, but the sheer numbers suggest it is likely they are not all disabled or seniors. For now it seems there's still plenty of perch and bluegill for everyone!

People start to arrive more heavily after 11 am, but it's a great place to swim, paddle, or run/hike in peace during the mornings!

Some things, like the beach sand underlayment curling up out of the sand and the shower button falling off (I didn't have the correct size Allen wrench/hex key to secure the set screw properly so the button disappeared the next day) ARE happening, and they do no matter how well the installations go.

All that said, the park is a great place, and my family and I go there...

Bear Lake seems to be a very popular place to go swimming for Spokane residents, probably because it's fairly close compared to most other lakes. Our kids have had a lot of fun here catching frogs and tadpoles that live on the flooded trails, however it is rather infested with mosquitoes, and seems to be "the place" for people to bring their dogs so you have to watch your step. I have personally seen many dog fights here and even got hit by a drunk lady when I told her to control her dog that was attacking other dogs at the beach. The water is very stagnant and there are even signs warning of swimmer's itch. I'm not a big fan...

Beautiful lake and surrounding area with a paved path that circles the lake completely. The path alone means a lot to me being that I'm a paraplegic and in a wheelchair. The only annoying part is when people don't follow the rules.. Like teenagers that think it's cool to jump/swim off the FISHING dock while people are trying to actually catch something. Clearly marked no swimming... Other than that it's one of my favorite lakes in this area! Note- ignore the guy who's post says "don't eat the fish" he's nuts... The bass are good size and great eating!

This is quite a unique place to visit. There are multiple places to set up by the lake, and it was a very clean area. We had a great time here. When entering, you can go to the left or the right. I did see a nice dock to take pictures on, or fish, and we brought canoes as well! Has working bathrooms as well, but no soap so bring your own. I also saw picnic tables and grills available; probably first come, first serve. A great place for kids and adults!

I love this little Lake and bringing my grandchildren here. Make sure to bring repellent because the mosquitoes are relentless. I also wish they would better monitor because it's supposed to be a kids fishing Lake but 80% of the people I saw fishing today had no children with them. What's the point of stocking the lake for kids if all the adults are catching the fish?
