I wanted to resolve a rattle in my front passenger door, so I took it here to see what the issue was and asked for a new subwoofer to replace my 8" stock sub. ...and this dude sucks.
Shortly after dropping my car off with him, he called and said my speaker was blown. Citing this as the reason for the rattle I'm hearing. So I had him replace the two front speakers and proceed with a 12" Subwoofer upgrade.
When I got the car, I was honestly underwhelmed. The subwoofer he installed was just too much. It just shook the hell out of the car (it even developed a light rattle that's still present). I would dial down the bass to compensate but it basically sounded on par or worse than my original stock sub. So I called him the next day and told him it has to go (politely). He threw a fit with me but I insisted that he be paid for labor nonetheless. Only be refunded for the speaker cost. He didn't provide a manual, warranty info, or the speaker's box when I paid, so I know he's just going to install it for another customer. Which is fine but he's not losing money from me so what's with the attitude?
After driving away the second time, the overly harsh bass wasn't hiding the rattle I had a problem with originally. So I returned for a third and last time and was told that I was "hearing things" and that "I cannot be satisfied". Now I may not be an audio engineer, but I own a LOT of audio products. I know a rattle when I hear one.
So what did I do? I rolled up my sleeves and discovered the rattle was from the passenger's window switch. So, I don't even know if the new speakers for the front two doors I paid for were even necessary (he didn't return my OEM speakers). I paid him $362.50 (after he refunded the "sub cost") to install 2 (probably generic) front door speakers and 3 hours of labor. That's INSANE. What the hell was he mad about? He basically robbed me lol.
If you have the spare time, just watch a YouTube video and do this yourself. If not, just go...

Read moreI am more than satisfied! I bought a camera system for my car. I figured I would have it professionally installed. I didn't want a bunch of wires lying around and wanted it hard wired into my car. He installed it very quickly and it looks very professional. The biggest thing for me. The hardware kit (Amazon) I bought was faulty. It didn't have a full connection. He showed me the amps and what not. So he broke open his own wiring kit and wired it for free. That's not common nowadays. Plus his price to install was legit 1/4th the price of geek squad who I almost used. I would without a doubt...
