we came in Mid October on our boat and are the only boat on the dock but have to share with all the local seals that sleep on the docks at night..be careful where you tie, the smell from them is bad in some spots..There is a very cool historical walk through the neighborhood to the west of the park, with signs and pictures telling all about the boat building and fishing community that was here in the early 1900s. There is also a forest trail through the west coast's largest Madrona forest that is very nice. Most the boats on buoys are almost derelict with people living on them, but the city dock...
Read moreGreat little dock! Can accommodate 40 foot boats and has a good anchorage with a muddy bottom that holds well. There are toilets and showers which are kept pretty clean. Also, there's a kiddy park with swings and such, covered tables with grilling pits and a small beach area when the tide is out. And just across the road are hiking trails. There's even a pizza place on the island that delivers...
