Plenty of parking, restroom, safe area. We often ride from Trelor to the west on the Kathy Trail. In the summer. it is only sunny for first two miles and then shady until almost to Case, an community (no services) on the map but not a town you see from the trail. Another Community is Gore (no services) about two miles east of Case. You can park your car in some parking areas next to the trail near Case. Close to Gore there is a sign that points up a drive to a wonderful little winery, called Lost Creek Vineyards. Call the phone number on the sign before you go up that short but quite steep drive., to make sure they are open! The ride from Trelor to Case is maybe 12 miles of deep shade often with very big bluffs that moderate the temperature and Missouri River comes up next to the trail. Other sections of the trail have sloughs, and by mid June expect some mosquitoes if you stop where they are next to the Katy. No bother if you keep riding. This area is most beautiful in the fall or early spring when the summer leaves are less dense and you can see the bluffs and better see the Missouri River, but some of the most comfortable miles on...

It was fine. I mean, it's a trailhead; a parking lot. As is common with Katy Trail trailheads, it has a nice bench and some historical info which can be fun, especially for long distance riders passing through and wanting to learn more about the area and history. It also has a trashcan which is nice for keeping the area clean and litter free. I used it to throw...

The bar and grill was charming as hell. Great fried pickles and hot cheese balls, reasonably priced beer and funny t-shirts. The trail was lovely, we went down to Peers and saw local live music on the porch of their quaint welcoming center. Part of the trail went by the Missouri river, which was...

Good place to drop on the Katy Trail and either ride up to McKittrick or down to Marthasville. You’re truly out in the middle of nowhere and out in nature here. No road or other noise here, just a nice peaceful ride.

Beautiful trailhead and area with very limited services... Treloar Bar and Grill is now closed since their establishment was badly damaged by flash flooding in the area in 2024. No water at TH.
