Lake Youngs Park — Attraction in Washington

Great place for a walk or run or trail bike ride in the woods. Well maintained trail around the lake. I really like this place close to the city but feels like you are far away in the woods with nature. Been known to see a few deer on many occasions. Like the soft dirt trail here vs. the hard paved Soos creek trail near by. Highly recommend this trail. Been known to have ultra trail races here over Memorial Day weekend. This was a great access point to lake youngs loop. The lot can hold about 15 vehicles. There are no facilities. This wide gravel trail is about 9.2 miles and circumnavigates Lake Youngs, which is fenced off with no trespassing signs. It is quite flat with a few rolling hills.
