It was all that was available mid summer but a large group of youth were occupying all the nearby sites and were chattering boisterously throughout the night. Surprisingly large group for the remoteness of the location and limit of number of campers per site. Other than the poor location of that campsite, I would recommend this place more highly. Read moreBeautiful, quiet, and accessible. There is a long hike down to the water, but once you get there, you will have expansive views of seemingly untouched beaches and benches to relax on to regain strength for the hike back up!
Insider tip: Dress in layers, you will be cold on the way down and maybe need something extra at the bottom, but you will need to shed them on the hike back up the steep hill. Bring water, and a snack if you have littler ones - but not a great place to take young children unless you plan to carry them back...

The hike out is quite steep, but the park is stunning and the campsites are very clean. My only complaint is the porta potty had not been serviced in months and was not usable due to the strong smell. Usually I wouldn't expect one camping, but it was advertised on their website.
