Use West entrance on Ernest Street (one block from Legion Rd) to use playground and dog park. Both sides of the park have nature trail access. Playground is nice equipment meant for 5-12 years old. Dog park has large fenced area with seating and shade and separate use for large and small dogs. There's a big shelter with lots of tables between the playground and the small dog section of the dog park. Although there's no swings, my big kids like the playground. There's a porta-potty and a water pump but no drinking fountain. The nature trails are short but relaxing. Parts of the trails have steep steps and crossing a shallow creek might be necessary depending on the time of year. But when there's a bit of water, you can see tadpoles, frogs, and water skimmers.

Very quiet and secluded park, it's where I'm going to have my wedding ceremony next year. It's very lovely and I love going back over and over again to imagine my wedding 😊

There’s a rude girl with a golden retriever that is irritating. other then that it’s a great area, Fonzie has made a lot of nice friends that he loves😊

I do morning walks/runs by this park. Very beautiful, quite area. I've seen a coyote and a turkey near there while running all within a few days. So the wildlife seems to feel comfortable and thriving in the area.

They keep it well mowed and picked up. I used the portable bathroom (port-a-potty) once, was rather unpleasant but that is just how those work. Only decent when just emptied, the nature of the beast I suppose.

Dog park is split in two sections. One for smaller breed dogs and one for larger breed dogs. Has playground equipment and pavilions. Sizable gravel parking lot.

Nice little gem tucked away back...

My daughter and I took our Golden Retriever this past weekend and were greeted by a Great Dane and a St.Bernard while trying to open the gate to enter. We didn't even step foot into the park when both dogs came into the enclosed area and attacked our dog!!! It was very upsetting needless to say and we will not be returning. It's unfortunate that people still bring their dogs knowing that they can't...
