What a nice surprise to unexpectedly find such a nice quaint winery on Orcas Island. We saw the sign and had to stop in to see what this was about. Wow to our surprise this was one of the best experiences we have had . I love when this happens, we were not expecting much when we walked through the doors we were greeted with a warm welcome this set the stage for our visit, things just fell into place. The wine, I am a big fan of Malbec so I asked the for the Malbec first, yet another surprise this was one of the best Malbec’s I have ever had. Now my curiosity had me I was hooked, I knew I had to try the rest of thier wines, all I can say is I am a fan of Orcas Island wine. Best of all the price point of their wine is outstanding. For the last four years we have always found the wine to be unique, delicious, and something wonderful to share with those who have never been. The tastings were $28 per person and included 4 generous pours but they didn't tell us anything about the wines and we had to come into the building after each one to get the next selection. I've been to a lot of wine tastings and have never paid this much! The wines were ok but not fantastic and definitely not worth $14 glass.
