River Meadows County Park is a true haven for those seeking solace in the midst of nature's embrace. With its serene forested surroundings, it offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. If you're yearning for a slice of serenity, this park should be at the top of your list.

The quiet and peaceful atmosphere is one of the park's most appealing features. As you stroll along the trails, you'll find yourself immersed in the soothing symphony of rustling leaves and chirping birds. It's a perfect place to clear your mind, rejuvenate your spirit, and find respite from the noise of the world.

While the park's winter tranquility is a charm in itself, the warmer months bring an added dimension of enjoyment. The opportunity to swim in the summer is a delightful invitation to beat the heat and connect with nature. The park's pristine waters provide a refreshing oasis where you can splash, play, and unwind to your heart's content.

The best part? River Meadows County Park remains a well-kept secret, even in the winter. You won't have to navigate through crowded spaces or jostle for a quiet spot – the tranquility is all yours to enjoy.

A bit noisy here, we camped on a weekend when they were mowing the tall grasses in the meadow. On our first night (Friday) someone was mowing until past 10pm. It was dark and most people had gone to bed before they turned off the loud engine of the tractor-mower, it was kind of crazy and a lot of campers were upset. It took them ALL weekend to finish this job, and I watched them kick up huge clouds of pollen and dust that made my allergies absolutely horrible all weekend long. There was also a very loud neighbor across the river having parties on their property, they own some peacocks that you can hear at all hours of the day and night. Sleeping in a tent was not great for noise and allergies, but I imagine a trailer would have been much more comfortable. There’s also a lot of people that come to the park on weekends for the day use area, there was a wedding there all day Saturday and a bunch of traffic. Not very private, and no showers so this place gets 2 stars. I think it’s overpriced for the lack of amenities it offers and too noisy/busy for anyone to get any peace and quiet! Won’t be...

Beautiful old farm where my Father in law would catch salmon as a child on the Stilliguamish River. His daddy owned the place. Many happy families gather there in the sunshine just like we did for decades. I hope they fix the rafting haul-out soon. Many wonderful memories there for me, and for many others to. Beautiful walks to hidden river coves. Warm summer swims with a zillion screaming kids and rope swings and carefree hours of fun in the rocks, sand and mud. A place of true rebirth of a weary soul. The rules are for the benefit of those who love the place. Please, the rules are excellent, like no alcohol, and no fireworks, no RC Models, leash only, noisy disrespectful people...

This is a very simple little park on the river, with access to small beaches when water level is normal. There's quite a lot of open space for whatever (running around or could probably set up volleyball or something if desired). Plenty of parking and clean (running water+) public bathrooms. Also has an outdoor utility spigot for any other outdoor water needs. Overall, I give this park an 8 out of 10, and would highly recommend it for any family oriented outings, as well as likely being a good spot to launch with small (manually propelled) marine craft and any seasonal fly fishing expeditions. Mellow, Secluded from town, and well maintained. Only lacking a bit in unique features of any kind.

There was a decent amount of parking, although I'm sure the plague had something to do with that. We were taking the family on a small hike and there is a trail that follows along the edge of the river with various spokes going out to the river. The trail was fairly well maintained and had some really pretty views. If you're trying to get some mileage in I don't think this is the place for you but if you want to take the family on a little hour adventure it's perfect
